But after all, what is a paisley print?
Characterized by curved teardrop or almond shapes, the roots of the paisley print are eastward, specifically between Iran, Pakistan and India, in a region known as Kashmir.
At first, aesthetics were used in carpets and fabrics, always with cultural meanings, such as life and eternity. Over time, paisley arrived in Europe through traders who took shawls decorated with the pattern to England and Scotland.
The period between 1960 and 1970 was marked by the rebirth of the print, as great artists began to incorporate the element into their daily lives, such as, for example, the band, which contributed to its spread at the time.
Today, the print is synonymous with versatility and can be used in different seasons throughout the year.
