This Wednesday, January 15th, another ‘Passadeira Vermelha’ aired, a program on SIC Caras led by Liliana Campos.
Yesterday’s broadcast was attended by commentators Catarina Miranda, Sara Norte and Hugo Mendes, who were present to analyze the latest celebrity news.
At one point, when they were talking about Laura Figueiredo, who shared an outburst about the logistics of being a mother of two children, highlighting the various challenges, Sara Norte showed her indignation.
“It’s a rant… But then let’s talk about the mothers who, to take their children to school, take three buses, then go to the first job, then to the second, then at the end of the day again, etc, etc. I think Laura is entitled to her comments but I think sometimes we have to look at our reality and see that we are privileged compared to the majority of mothers, working women…”he began by saying.
Sara Norte ‘didn’t stay’ and then left some criticisms of Laura Figueiredo’s stance, accusing her of not paying attention to who her followers are: “Laura is privileged, Laura doesn’t wake up in the morning to go to work – at least I don’t know where – the only things I see of Laura is going to the hairdresser and everything is fine. Now this, for me, is really an attack on those who have children, work and a life like the majority of Portuguese women”.
