It is planning “terrorist acts” in the air against Poland and other countries, the Polish prime minister said today after his meeting with the Ukrainian president in Warsaw.

Security officials have said the packages that exploded at supply depots in Europe were part of a test procedure for a Russian plan to detonate commercial flights to the United States.

“The latest information can confirm the validity of fears that Russia is planning terrorist acts in the air not only against Poland,” Tusk said during the press conference. He did not say what actions he was referring to or elaborate on the content of the information.

Moscow has consistently denied any involvement in the blasts at the courier warehouses, as well as burglaries, arson attacks and attacks on people that Western officials say were carried out by agents paid by Russia. The Russian embassy in Warsaw did not immediately respond to an emailed request for comment on Tusk’s statement.
