Benefit concerts will bring together artists in support of affected victims in LA

Two benefit shows will be held to help victims of the wildfires in Los Angeles, United States. The line-up for the presentation was revealed this Thursday (16) and features names such as Lady Gaga, Billie Eilish, Katy Perry and the band Red Hot Chili Peppers.

The presentation was titled “Fire Aid” and it will happen in two places on the same night. The Intuit Dome and Kia Forum arenas, in Inglewood, California, were chosen to host the presentations, which are scheduled for January 30th.

On social media, they also mentioned that the shows start at 6pm and tickets will be sold on the day January 22 at noon local time (5pm Brasília time).

“Donations can be made via the link in our bio. Stay tuned for more artist announcements in the coming days”, they mentioned, indicating that new names will be announced soon. There, they also explain that donations will be distributed for short-term relief efforts and long-term initiatives to prevent future wildfire disasters throughout California.

Until this Thursday (16), or warning in Los Angeles County, as the effort continues to contain the deadly wildfires that have caused a high level of destruction in the area.

The exact number of people impacted fluctuates, Sheriff Robert G. Luna said, but approximately 82,400 people remain under evacuation orders and another 90,400 are under evacuation warnings.
