Businessman who runs Big Brazil International Gaming was traveling with his wife and daughter; only the child and the pilot survived
Businessman André Feldman, 50 years old, CEO of bet Big Brazil International Gaming, died in a helicopter in the municipality of Caieiras, greater São Paulo, on Thursday night (16 January 2025). In addition to him, 3 other people were on board.
André’s wife, Juliana Feldman, aged 49, also died in the fall. The couple’s daughter and pilot Edenilson de Oliveira Costa were rescued alive and taken to the Hospital das Clínicas in São Paulo. The child turns 12 this Friday (Jan. 17).
According to the São Paulo Public Security Secretariat, the helicopter took off from Campo de Marte, in the north of São Paulo, heading to the city of Americana, in the interior of the state. The aircraft, model EC 130 B4 with registration number PR-WVT, was manufactured by Eurocopter France. It belongs to C&F Administração de Aeronaves LTDA, a company owned by André Feldman and Paulo José Converso.
Investigation
The FAB (Brazilian Air Force) reported that investigators from Seripa IV (Fourth Regional Service for the Investigation and Prevention of Aeronautical Accidents), a regional body of Cenipa (Center for Investigation and Prevention of Aeronautical Accidents), located in São Paulo (SP), were called to investigate the incident.
In the initial action, data will be collected and the damage caused to the aircraft or by the aircraft will be verified, and other information necessary for the investigation will be collected.
