Corinthians players celebrated with the fans after the 2-1 victory over Bragantino, at the Nabi Abi Chedid Stadium, in Bragança Paulista, in the first round of the Campeonato Paulista, this Thursday (16). Timão won the three turning points, with goals from Pedro Raul and Talles Magno. Massa Bruto took to the net with Lucas Evangelista.
Under heavy rain, the black and white players gathered behind one of the goals, turned to the fans in the stands and sang “Poropopó”, the traditional song of the Corinthians fans.
Timão lost in the first half, but sought the result with two goals in the final stage.
The result left them at the top of group A, with three points. Bragantino is third in group C, still without scoring.
The team’s team will take place on Sunday (19), at 6:30 pm (Brasília time), against Velo Clube-SP, at Arena Corinthians, in São Paulo. On the same day, at 4pm (Brasília time), Fernando Seabra’s team visits São Bernardo at Estádio Primeiro de Maio, in São Bernardo do Campo-SP.
