To prepare the rolls, we will need thinly pounded slices of pork loin. After seasoning, we stuff them with various ingredients. We recommend bacon, pickled cucumbers and peppers. However, it is worth remembering that we can experiment freely and add whatever we have in the fridge. They will taste great when we fill them mushrooms, cheese, leek, spinach or ham. After carefully wrapping them, gently fry them in a pan and then throw them into the oven the meat will become soft and tender, and all the flavors will combine.

The rolls can be served with various additions. They will taste best in combination with mashed potatoes and . However, in a healthier version, you can serve them with groats. A thick gravy will also go well with the rolls and can be made quickly and easily while the meat is in the oven.

Ingredients:

  • 6 slices of pork loin,
  • 6 slices of bacon,
  • 0.5 red pepper,
  • 2 pickled cucumbers,
  • 1 tablespoon of mustard,
  • salt and pepper
  • oil for frying.

Wash the pork loin thoroughly and break it into thin cutlets. Salt and pepper each of them on both sides, and then spread with mustard. Cut the peppers and pickled cucumbers into thin strips. Place a slice of bacon, a few pieces of pepper and a pickled cucumber on each cutlet. We wrap them tightly in rolls and secure them with toothpicks to prevent them from unrolling in the next stages.

Heat the oil in a large frying pan, then arrange the rolls and fry them on each side until they are nicely browned. Then put them into an ovenproof dish, add 100 ml of water and put them in oven preheated to 180 degrees C. Bake for approx. 40 minutes. Remove the hot rolls from the oven and serve with mashed potatoes and your favorite salad.
