Vienna – The construction cartel that was uncovered years ago is now having consequences for the Styrian construction company Pichler Bau GmbH. At the request of the Federal Competition Authority (BWB), the cartel court legally imposed a fine of 110,000 euros on the company, as the BWB announced on Friday. Pichler took part in antitrust-related price fixing and/or price coordination, market allocation and information exchange with competitors in the civil engineering sector, it said.
