Haaland renews contract with Manchester City until 2034

Erling Haaland has signed a 10-year contract with Manchester City that will keep him at the club until 2034, the Premier League club announced on Friday (17).

Haaland’s contract expires in June 2027, but the 24-year-old can remain at the club until he is 34.

The Norwegian, , scored 111 goals in 126 matches for City, winning a third Premier League title, an FA Cup and the Champions League in his debut season under the command of .

“I am very proud and happy and look forward to being here for a long time,” he said in a statement.

“In the end, talking to the people I spoke to, the hunger and the support I have received in recent years from the board, the bosses and Pep, it was an easy decision. Now I can fully focus on improving because I will be here for a long time.”

Haaland broke records in his first season in England, scoring 36 goals in his debut Premier League campaign and 52 in all competitions.

He scored 27 league goals last season as City cruised to a fourth successive Premier title. This season, Haaland has 16 goals, two less than .
