On the night of last Thursday (16), a fell in a dense forest area in the city of in Greater São Paulo. There were four people on board. The pilot and a 12-year-old girl were rescued alive. Unfortunately, the child’s father and mother did not survive the accident.
The helicopter is an EC 130B4 model with prefix PRWVT and at the time of the accident it was traveling from Campo de Marte to the city of Americana, in the interior of São Paulo. The aircraft was located at around 6:15 am this Friday (17). According to the Civil Defense of the State of São Paulo, the aircraft lost GPS signal on Thursday night (16) around 8:34 pm.
Thinking about the passengers, the pilot is Edenilson de Oliveira Costa. The parents of the surviving girl are André Feldman, CEO of BIG Brazil International Games, and his wife Juliana Elisa Alves Maria Feldman who died.
Investigators from the Fourth Regional Service for the Investigation and Prevention of Aeronautical Accidents (SERIPA IV), a regional body of the Center for Investigation and Prevention of Aeronautical Accidents (CENIPA), located in São Paulo (SP), were called to carry out the Initial Action of the occurrence.
Due to the work of the fire department, Rodovia dos Bandeirantes (km 30) was partially closed. The operation caused some traffic in the region.
