Stefan Kraft was very disappointed. Austria’s ski jumping star was on the winning track for a long time in the last competition of the Four Hills Tournament in Bischofshofen, but as the leader after the first round he had to wait several minutes because of the wind. In the end, Kraft only ended up in third place behind winner Daniel Tschofenig and Jan Hörl – in the daily and overall rankings. “It just wasn’t meant to be. I was really unlucky twice. It’s hard to be out of luck twice,” said the 31-year-old at Eurosport last week.
