Delays and suspensions on CP trains are frequent, regardless of which part of the country you are in. Until a few months ago you had to go to the station and wait for your train to arrive, hoping that it would come, although you didn’t know when. However, CP celebrated its 168th anniversary with a new feature that promises to change the lives of its customers.
Now there is a new feature on the company’s website and app that allows you to see in real time if your train is late or has been suspended. In addition to knowing that this is late, you can also be aware of how long you will have to wait for the train to arrive at the station.
According to CP, the functionality “offers an accurate and continuous consultation of the circulation status of trains throughout CP’s service network”. This means that the new functionality covers all trains, from Alfa Pendular to Urban trains, including Intercidades, Regional, InterRegional and even International.
What is surprising about this initiative is that real-time information was a feature developed internally by CP’s own workers. “It results from the full dedication of CP’s internal teams, was developed by the company’s own workers and represents a significant advance in the railway mobility experience”, he indicated in a statement.
To check delays and suspensions on trains, simply go to the CP app or you can type ““ in the Google search bar.
