Al-Hilal coach, Jorge Jesus showed concern about Neymar’s physical condition. The coach admitted that the chance of the Brazilian star being registered in the Saudi Championship is small. In conversation with Romário, the number 10 spoke about his relationship with the Portuguese.
“The old man is blurry. It’s difficult to talk about Jorge, because I’ve been working with him for a year, but not every day, because I hurt my knee. He’s a very sincere guy. If you’re feeling bad, he tells you. If You’re fine, he says. As a coach, he’s very good, he works the team very well, it’s annoying. And that’s why he’s a winner,” said Neymar.
“I like him, he’s a guy who treats me really well. I’m dying laughing with him. He wanted to teach me penalty kicks one time there. I said: ‘Do you want to teach the priest how to say mass?”, added the player, in the section De Cara Com Cara, from Romário TV.
It is worth mentioning, however, that the interview was recorded before Jorge Jesus’ statements about the player. Last Thursday (16), the Portuguese coach cited the number 10’s recent injuries.
“About Neymar… It’s not easy. He’s coming off an injury that took him out of the competition. When he was about to return, he got injured again. He’s a player that leaves no doubt in anyone’s mind, a top player in the world. But the truth is that physically he has not been able to keep up with the team”, he stated.
