The choice of a car is usually marked by life priorities as well as financial possibilities. According to some signs, however, it is possible to very well estimate the nature of the owner, as well as his possible problems.
In the case of a car, we could paraphrase the sentence: Show me what you read and I’ll tell you who you are. In the same way, it is possible to understand to a large extent the mentality of its driver or owner by looking at the car.
From careful drivers of small cars to family types with seven-seater colossi to drivers of sports cars, lovers of adrenaline and social prestige. However, all of this can still be classified under the usual categories…
You hear but you don’t see
However, there are also cars on the roads that you will hear long before they head headlong into a bend. Such vehicles usually have (among other things) a modified exhaust so that its volume is as loud as possible. What does such an intervention say about the person who requested it or carried it out himself? According to psychologists, in most cases it is a kind of public confession of certain psychopathic or sadistic tendencies.
Other people? Just let them be afraid!
It is actually a very simple connection between the mentioned psychological disorder and recklessness towards one’s surroundings. Such a person will certainly not take into account his surroundings and will not concern himself with whether he will startle someone with such a loud sound. It’s quite the opposite.
Such attention and concern of people that he passes in a modified car instills in him a feeling of exceptionality and power over others. It is he who is in the center of attention and action at that moment, even though through his car, with which he associates himself more than an ordinary driver. For him, the car is a part of his own personality, the one he himself would like to be – the ruler not only of the roads, but also of human destinies.
Watch out for the reaction
So if you ever meet such a driver on the road, it would be better to keep your wits about you and not allow yourself to be provoked into a possible reaction. We could expect an unpleasant surprise in the form of unnecessary aggression from a person who may not have his life and especially his behavior completely under control.

But the researchers went even further and tried to reveal what influence a person’s psychological makeup has on choosing a car brand. From this research, BMW came out worst, whose owners were most often attributed with narcissistic and antisocial qualities, as well as drivers of gold cars, or those who choose a license plate with its own code.
The worst combination of all
Although we cannot take the results of such research literally and automatically condemn each of the owners of such “affected” vehicles, one thing is probably quite certain: if you meet the driver of a golden sports BMW on the road with his own license plate and modified exhaust, then you most likely have becoming a truly special person. It is a question of whether we would be interested in such a contact, or perhaps we would rather not…
