The campus is located approximately 170 kilometers from the border. The governor of the Kaluga region confirmed the fire.

A Ukrainian drone strike on Friday caused a fire at an industrial site in Russia, about 170 kilometers from the border, authorities there said. TASR informs about it according to the report of the AFP agency.

“As a result of a drone strike in the city of Ljudinovo, a fire broke out in the premises of an industrial enterprise,” announced the governor of the Kaluga region, Vladislav Šapša, in a post on the Telegram platform. Unverified videos on Russian social networks, according to AFP, show a fire that allegedly burned in an oil warehouse in the Kaluga region.

With the help of Western allies, Ukraine has been defending itself against the Russian invasion for almost three years. It is therefore attacking refineries and fuel depots deep in the Russian interior in an attempt to cut off supplies to the Russian military. Russia, on the other hand, is targeting Ukrainian energy infrastructure and cities.

They also attacked oil depots

In recent weeks, the Kiev army has hit several Russian oil depots. On the night of Tuesday, the largest missile attack on Russian territory took place so far, in which Ukraine and Western-supplied missiles were used. It hit a chemical plant in the Bryansk region on the border with Belarus and Ukraine and other targets in the Saratov region in southwestern Russia.

A fuel warehouse in the Tula region south of Moscow caught fire early Saturday morning after an attack by Ukrainian drones, local authorities said. TASR informs about it according to the report of the DPA agency.

The regional governor, Dmitry Milyaev, wrote on the Telegram platform that there were no injuries during the attack on the facility. He also added that five Ukrainian drones were neutralized. However, this information could not be independently verified.

The Tula region, located approximately 160 kilometers south of Moscow, came under attack just hours after a drone strike in the Kaluga region. According to available information, there was also a fire in an oil warehouse, local authorities claim.
