An accident on a chairlift in the ski resort of Astún (Huesca) has left dozens of people injured, according to the Delegation of the Government of Aragon. At the moment, there are no deaths, although rescue efforts are currently underway. At this time, the reasons for the accident are still unknown. According to the Government of Aragon, there are nine very seriously injured and eight seriously injured, although the total number of victims is unknown because emergency services continue to evacuate people from the area. The most serious is a woman who is going to be transferred to the Miguel Servet hospital in Zaragoza by helicopter. Four helicopters are activated: from Zaragoza, Teruel, one from the Civil Guard and one from Navarra. The station is closed to the public.
