According to the city hall, the city is undergoing cleaning, maintenance and unblocking of roads. “Our focus now is to reestablish infrastructure and public services in the neighborhoods. We worked throughout the night cleaning the roads, prioritizing the neighborhoods most affected by the rain”, said Mayor Juliana Pavan (PSD).
The Santa Catarina Environmental Institute (IMA) recommended that residents exercise caution when using bathing water, especially in places close to drains, river branches, ditches and pipes.
