There is no reason to worry too much
Sub-freezing temperatures mean that certain measures are necessary, but if there are no extremes, it does not mean that it is impossible to go outside with a baby. If he is well dressed and the stroller is properly secured, there is nothing to worry about.
Watch out for the blanket!
But some parents, worried about their tiny offspring, throw a blanket over the stroller to be safe. The child is warm, the space is large enough, so the baby has enough air – that is one of the arguments.
But we have to realize that the covered hole, on the other hand, gets warm quickly and the child is dressed for the cold. In the best of intentions, we can cause his body to overheat with this unnecessary step. Don’t worry and use the blanket in a different way. This is not a good way.
The stroller has its own system
Instead of a blanket, use a raincoat that is made for this purpose and has a sufficiently large opening in the front. In addition to preventing the wind from reaching the child directly, it ensures sufficient ventilation and also protects the stroller from unnecessary moisture, which does not do the fabric parts the best service.
