Suchir Balaji had publicly accused the ChatGPT operator. Accusations of murder are flourishing online
In October, AI developer Suchir Balaji made headlines when he publicly confronted his former employer – ChatGTP operator OpenAI – with allegations that the company had used any data it wanted when developing ChatGPT, whether copyrighted or not. A month later, Balaji was dead. His body was found in his San Francisco apartment a few days after his 26th birthday. Authorities classified the case as suicide. The police found no evidence of foul play.
