The Goiás Fire Department found on Thursday (16) the body of a man who had been missing since last Sunday (12). The victim was located by the corporation in a wooded area under a car, around GO-446, in Posse, approximately 500 km from Goiânia.
According to the firefighters’ report, the victim, who was driving along the highway, was ejected from the vehicle after falling into a cliff approximately 100 meters high.
When teams arrived at the scene, the man’s body was already in a state of decomposition. The victim disappeared after leaving his sister’s house in Posse and was heading to the city of Iaciara.
However, the man did not arrive at the scene. As a result, the family filed a missing person report. The case is under investigation by the Civil Police.
