According to local media, including Haaretzthe agreement has gone ahead thanks to the 24 ministers voted in favor, while eight voted against (the Ministers of Security and Finance, as well as two from the Likud party, Netanyahu’s own party).
In this way, the agreement will come into force next Sunday at noon, at which time the first phase of the truce will begin, in which it will be certified the cessation of hostilities, the withdrawal of Israeli troops towards the border and the exchange of 33 hostages held by Hamas for Palestinian prisoners in Israeli prisons.
