The judges unanimously ruled that the law does not violate citizens’ freedom of expression, after many congressmen argued that the social network is spying on Americans, which meets the needs of the Chinese Communist Party. However, the US press says that the president-elect may approve an executive order that allows TikTok to remain operational for two to three months, while Byte Dance seeks other options. Trump said on social media on Friday that he had not yet made a decision. There are over 170 million TikTok users in the US.
