The president-elect of the United States, Donald Trump, and his team plan to begin mass detentions of undocumented immigrants starting next Tuesday, one day after his inauguration, as admitted by the head of immigration policies of the future Administration. Tom Homanon Fox News after publication in ‘The Wall Street Journal‘ about Trump’s plans to carry out a raid in Chicago. “There’s going to be a nationwide raid. Chicago is just one of many places,” the new ‘border czar’ explained.

According to the American newspaper, the arrests in Chicago would start on Tuesday and last all week, with the participation of between 100 and 200 agents immigration authorities of the Immigration and Customs Enforcement Service (ICE). The election of Chicago would respond to the high number of migrants residing in the city, as well as the media impact of doing so in one of the great Democratic urban fiefdoms.

Homan already anticipated weeks ago that the deportations would begin on “day 1” and that Chicago would be the first target. “If the mayor of Chicago doesn’t want to help, he can step aside. But if you prevent us from acting, if you deliberately hide or cover up an illegal immigrant, I will prosecute you,” Homan said.

“On Tuesday, ICE will finally do its job. We are going to take the handcuffs off of ICE and let them arrest criminal aliens,” the ‘border czar’ insisted on Fox News.

Trump was elected president with mass deportations of migrants as one of his main promises. The conservative newspaper New York Post also published this Friday that, in addition to Chicago, New York will be one of the first places where Trump’s macro-raids will take place.
