Portuguese tennis players Nuno Borges and Francisco Cabral advanced to the quarterfinals of the Australian Open in doubles after beating Dutch players Tallon Griekspoor and Botic van de Zandschulp.

The Portuguese overcame their opponents 7-6 (7-5), 3-6 and 6-3, in a match lasting two hours and two minutes.

In the next round, the national representatives, champions of the 2022 Estoril Open, will face the Italians Simone Bolelli and Andrea Vavassori, who beat the pair today made up of Spaniards Pedro Martinez and Jaume Munar.
