Daniele Hypolito gets emotional when she reveals that she doesn’t go to the beach because she’s ashamed of her body

Former gymnast Daniele Hypolito, 40, became emotional during a conversation with her brother, also former athlete Diego Hypolito. In the chat, the sister decides to talk about an issue that appears to be very delicate for her.

“When you asked me to go to the beach, do you know why I didn’t go?”, begins Dani. “I have no idea,” the brother replies.

Excited, she reveals. “Because I’m ashamed of my body”, she said, visibly emotional and with an air of sadness.

Diego immediately tried to console his sister. “I know, you’re not even getting into the pool, you told me. But you have to lose that, lose this shame about your body, because you inherit a gymnastics situation. You look beautiful, you’re 40 years old, you were a gymnast her whole life, she was asked to have perfect body shape all her life”, says the youngest.

Daniele then says that she is talking about this not because of external pressure, but because of herself. “I wouldn’t want to be like this.”

“I thought it would be a good solution for me, so I followed my head and looked for the right people. My doctor said that, if I didn’t need to do anything, he would talk. I had full support from my family, which is the most important thing. There are people who will agree, there are people who won’t. But the important thing is for the person to feel good, regardless of whether they are an athlete or not”, he said at the time.

At the time, Daniele also said that she had done the procedure thinking about her performance in gymnastics. The statement was contested by João de Moraes Prado Neto, who was president of the São Paulo regional branch of the Brazilian Society of Plastic Surgery. He stated that liposuction brings more aesthetic results than sporting results.

In 2013, she also complained about her broad shoulders and expressed her desire to get breast implants.
