A group of students from Escola Secundária do Entroncamento developed an innovative kit for breast cancer screening.
The project, titled “Prints for Pink”was guided by a Biology teacher and stood out in an Iberian competition that involved around 2,000 projects from high school students in Portugal and Spain.
The aim of the kit is to be simple to use and easy to use.ranportar, contributing to increasing the disease tracking capacity.
The work of these four students has already been recognized internationally, with presentations in Barcelona and the United States, where they became winners of the competition. However, with the transition of students to higher education, the project is currently on hold.
Still, the creators intend to raise support in the future to carry out this project.
