Real Madrid x Las Palmas: how the game was

In an electrifying start to the game, Las Palmas surprised and opened the scoring 28 seconds into the game. The Portuguese received a pass from Sandro Ramirez, inside the area, and opened the scoring.

Real Madrid’s response came next, with Brahim. In a triangulation play, Rodrygo crossed and the midfielder missed the target, without a goalkeeper.

Fábio Silva still had a great chance in the fourth minute, again in an overtaking move, but finished wide.

Then it was Mbappé’s turn to shoot hard, but Cillessen saved.

Real Madrid started to build the victory in the 16th minute, with Mbappé, leaving everything the same. The number nine took a penalty in the low left corner, with no chance for the goalkeeper.

The team continued to create chances. At 32, Brahim Díaz took advantage of the surplus and turned the game around, after Cillessen blocked Mbappé’s shot.
