Several people, the Israeli police announced on Saturday afternoon. Police determined the stabbing was a terrorist attack, adding that the assailant tried to stab bystanders before being shot on the spot by a civilian with a firearms license.
The suspect is said to be Salah Yahya, a 19-year-old resident of Tulkarm who entered Israel illegally. Magen David Adom said it is treating a man for a serious stab wound to his upper body.
A friend of the victim who was present during the attack told Maariv: “My friend was stabbed in front of me.” On the same day, the video of the attack, which includes harsh images, was released.
The perpetrator approached his unsuspecting victims from behind and then began stabbing anyone in front of him.

“We ran to hide in the kitchen”
At the same time, the Israeli Media publishes testimonies from those who were at the scene. “We were sitting in a cafe and the incident happened at the end of the street. Suddenly, there were gunshots and then someone shouted “terrorist attack”.
We all ran to the kitchen to hide. There was hysteria and chaos – people were afraid to go out. Someone said it was a knife attack and what we heard was gunshots aimed at the terrorist. One of the friends said he saw two people lying on the ground. People started heading home as fast as possible.” a man said.
