In the modern digital era, the line between reality and fiction is blurring, and artificial intelligence plays a major role in this dangerous process. The technology that was originally supposed to make everyday life easier and push the boundaries of human possibilities has started to be used by fraudsters who abuse it for manipulation and lies.
One of the most disturbing phenomena are the so-called deepfake videos. These are completely fake records featuring famous people. The public is often unaware that they are watching fake content and trusts what they see. Fraudsters rely on this very fact when they spread videos of famous faces that they promote various products or games and try to get personal information or money from people.
Moderator Jasmina Alagič (35) also draws attention to such unfair practices on the social network. to which an unsuspecting follower wrote. “Hello Mrs. Jasmína, on Tik Tok, your husband made a game of who catches what. And I succeeded, but I don’t know how to send it to him that I succeeded and that he will be rewarded. So I don’t know if it’s true or fake?” she asked.
Jasmina immediately reacted to this fraud. “Don’t play anything on Tik Tok! Me and my husband have nothing to do with it, once again someone is trying to trick you!” she warned her followers. The profile on the social network has a similar username and the same profile picture as rapper Patrik Rytmus Vrbovský (48) has on his official profile. Fraudsters have already published more than 130 videos with similar games on the social network. You can see what the profile looks like in the gallery.
