Schonach – Johannes Lamparter secured the ÖSV’s first victory of the season in Nordic combined in the World Cup compact competition in Schonach. On Sunday, the Tyrolean came from third place after jumping ahead of top star Jarl Magnus Riiber from Norway, whom he left behind in the final phase of the 7.5 km cross-country run. The German Vinzenz Geiger came third, followed immediately behind by three Austrians: Martin Fritz, Stefan Rettenegger and Franz-Josef Rehrl.
