With an eye on the leadership of the Pernambucano Championship, Náutico visits Central-PE this Sunday (19), at 6pm (Brasília time), at the Lacerdão stadium, in Caruaru. The team coached by Marquinhos Santos comes from a 3-2 victory over Jaguar-PE, in Aflitos, which took them to four points.

To end the weekend at the top of the table, hope that Santa Cruz doesn’t beat Afogados-PE in Arruda, also this Sunday. If both win, Náutico needs to end the round with a greater goal difference than its rival to stay ahead.

Afterwards, they will have to hope for Maguary-PE to stumble against Petrolina-PE. The teams will face each other on Monday (20), at 8 pm, at Paulo Coelho, in Petrolina.

Central wants to escape relegation

Central-PE, in turn, wants to escape the relegation zone. Patativa do Agreste has only one point won so far and is in second place.

The bad campaign made the red and black board rethink the team’s technical command. Last Friday (17), Rafael Jaques was fired, and Celso Teixeira was hired for the position. This will be the coach’s fourth stint at Central.
