Varaždin – The World Handball Association has reacted to riots by North Macedonian fans at the World Cup game against the Netherlands in Varaždin in Croatia with fines and warnings. Both the North Macedonian federation and the Croatian World Cup organizing committee were sentenced to an undisclosed fine, the IHF said. The North Macedonians will most likely be one of Austria’s main round opponents from Tuesday in Varaždin.
