Cruzeiro reacted and equalized in the 15th minute with a great goal from Kauã Prates, after a beautiful assist from Luís Fernando. However, São Paulo regained the lead in the 28th minute with a beautiful goal from Lucas Ferreira, who finished first after a pass with Ryan Francisco.
In the second half, Ryan Francisco increased São Paulo’s advantage in the 28th minute, sealing the Tricolor victory.
With this victory, São Paulo advances to the semifinals of the Copa São Paulo, keeping the dream of a fifth championship alive. The team demonstrated strength and determination, overcoming a traditional and competitive opponent like Cruzeiro. The team from Minas Gerais, in turn, ends its participation in the tournament, but leaves a positive impression due to the performance presented throughout the competition.
