This is an ideal proposition for potato lovers. It doesn’t get any better than these crispy wedges straight from the oven. Serve them at a party or during Sunday dinner – they taste like from a good restaurant and are very easy to make.
To prepare this recipe you need:
- 1 kg of potatoes,
- 2 tablespoons of oil,
- 2 cloves of garlic,
- 2 tablespoons of thyme,
- sun,
- pepper,
- sweet pepper.
We choose potatoes of approximately the same size. If we use old potatoes, it is better to peel them. The young ones can be left in the skin. Cut the washed/peeled potatoes into wedges.
Pour 2 liters of water into the pot, place it on the stove and bring to a boil. Pour a flat teaspoon of salt into boiling water, add a teaspoon of thyme and 2 cloves of peeled garlic. Finally, add the potatoes.
Boil the potatoes for about 4-5 minutes. After this time, drain the cooked potatoes and place them hot in a bowl.
Pour oil over the potato wedges. Season with thyme, salt, pepper and sweet paprika. Mix everything so that the potato pieces are thoroughly covered with spices.
Preheat the oven to 220 degrees. Place the potato wedges in the oven. Bake for about 20-30 minutes until golden brown.
Serve baked potato wedges as a snack with sauce or as an addition to dinner. Enjoy your meal!
