He would turn 82 on February 5th. Milton Miranda was born in Ubajara, Ceará, in 1943, and came young to work in the Amazon. Firstly, in Rondônia, where he opened a small pharmacy. In 1970, he came to Acre, where he initially dedicated himself to construction.

He built the first wooden bridge over the Caeté River, in Sena Madureira. In January 1973, in a ceremony celebrated by Father Paolino Baldassari, he married Dona Maria Gorete, with whom he had three children: Evelyn, Alan Rick and Mirla Miranda. In Sena, he prospered and acquired the São Sebastião rubber plantation, now belonging to the family of Mr. Ciro Machado.

In 1984, he separated from Dona Gorete and moved to Boa Vista (RR), where he opened a company also in the construction industry. He started a new family with Danielly Leão, with whom he had two more children, Dayranjes and Mack.

“Milton Miranda leaves us with a great legacy of his obstinacy for work, his entrepreneurial soul and his incredible strength to rise again in the midst of so many difficulties that life gave him. He lived his last years with his youngest children in Portugal. He gave his life to Christ and confessed Jesus as his Savior on several occasions when we were together. May God receive you in eternal rest. I love you, dad”, wrote the senator.
