The first Ba-Vi of the 2025 season already has a date, place and time to take place. The Bahian Football Federation (FBF) released a new table for the Bahian Championship and defined that the classic will be played on February 1st (a Saturday), the day before Iemanjá Day, at 4pm. The match, in the 6th round of the competition, will be played by Tricolor and will take place at Arena Fonte Nova.
This will be the 500th time that Bahia and Vitória will face each other in history. Still this year, two more Ba-Vis are guaranteed, both for the Brazilian Championship. But the teams can still measure up more times in the season, if they advance from the first phase in Baianão itself and in the Copa do Nordeste.
Last year, the classic was played six times, with two wins for each side and two draws. Leão, however, ended up winning, as they won the state title over their biggest rival.
- Victory 3×2 Bahia: first phase of the Bahia Championship
- Bahia 2×1 Vitória: first phase of the Copa do Nordeste
- Victory 3×2 Bahia: final first leg of the Bahia Championship
- Bahia 1×1 Vitória: return game of the Bahian Championship final
- Vitória 2×2 Bahia: first round of the Brazilian Championship
- Bahia 2×0 Vitória: second round of the Brazilian Championship
In addition to defining the Ba-Vi #500, the FBF also announced the other rounds of Baianão, in addition to promoting changes to reconcile with the dates of the Copa do Nordeste. Look:
