First lady Melania Trump has spent the past two months preparing to return to the White House and resume a role she sometimes bristled at during her husband’s first term, multiple sources say.

Melania has been studying foreign relations and preparing extensively on her own, often joining President-elect Donald Trump for several of his dinners as he has hosted high-profile guests at his Florida residence over the past two months.

She privately acknowledged that the job was a whirlwind of responsibilities that she wasn’t very aware of the first time around.
