The fight between the United States and the European Union will begin on Tuesday, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán announced on Monday in Budapest in a speech at a conference on Hungary’s last year’s presidency of the Council of the European Union. The server recalled that Orbán’s spokesman Bertalan Havasi justified the prime minister’s absence at Monday’s inauguration of former US President Donald Trump by attending a conference.
Orbán went on to say that during the Hungarian presidency, Trump and Western patriots began to reshape the Western world. According to the prime minister, the key powers of the world are now creating the economic and political frameworks in which we will live in the future.
“The big boys are working with full commitment to create new geopolitical frameworks. The fight between America and Brussels will start tomorrow,” declared Orbán.
According to Orbán, America has realized that if it continues like this, China will overtake it and the USA will at most become a market for its super-modern products. The Hungarian Prime Minister said about the EU that it does not solve changes in the world, competitiveness, but not just preparation for it.
“Europe is more in the phase of drinking than sobering up. Instead of protecting families, it solves the gender agenda, replaces available energy with green politics,” added Orbán, according to whom Europe lost the war and sanctions destroyed the European economy.
The EU isolated itself from China, America, Russia and also from the “continent of the future” – Africa, which was a mistake, according to Orbán. “During the Hungarian presidency, we maintained communication and a relationship with Russia that enabled adequate energy security. If all this continues like this, the Union will be an absolute loser,” he underlined.
According to Orbán, Hungary strives for friendships and advantages in international politics. “We don’t want to shape Europe, we want to live our own lives. The Hungarian presidency was also about promoting the interests of the Hungarian people,” stated the Prime Minister.
