The president-elect of the United States, Donald Trump (Republican), 78 years old, for his second 4-year term. He will become the country’s 47th president. The ceremony will be held inside the Capitol – US Congress – due to the cold in Washington DC
This will be the Republican’s last government, as the US Constitution prevents a person from being elected to the Presidency more than twice. Trump will take the oath of office at 12pm local time (2pm in Brasília), as required by the 20th Amendment to the Constitution.

Because of the extreme cold, the traditional ceremony took place in the Capitol rather than outdoors. The last inauguration to be held indoors due to low temperatures was in 1985, when Ronald Reagan (Republican) took office for his second term.
