The president () said this Monday (20) that he was “fully recovered” from the fall he suffered on his head in October 2024 and joked that his hair would look better than that of vice-president Geraldo Alckmin and minister Ricardo Lewandowski (Justice).
Lula, who had started wearing a hat to disguise the scar from the surgery he underwent as a result of the accident, appeared at the first ministerial meeting of 2025 without the accessory.
“You’re realizing that I’m not even wearing a hat, to show that my hair will look better than Alckmin’s and better than Lewandowski’s,” he said. “Lewandowski and Alckmin will be jealous of my hair.”
The president fell in the bathroom of the Palácio da Alvorada on October 19, 2024. Since then, he underwent surgical procedures and suffered restrictions on plane travel, until he was released for regular Presidency activities.
