Bahia gained yet another reinforcement for the main team’s debut this season. This Tuesday (21), defender Santiago Ramos Mingo had his name published in the CBF Daily Newsletter (BID) and is available to Rogério Ceni.
The Argentine’s regularization comes at an important moment for Bahia, as Gabriel Xavier injured his knee and became doubtful to face Sampaio Corrêa, this Thursday (23), at 8 pm, at Fonte Nova, for the Copa do Nordeste.
Santiago Ramos Mingo was bought by Bahia from Defensa y Justicia, from Argentina. He participated in the tricolor’s last training sessions during the pre-season in Girona, Spain.
In addition to the Argentine, Bahia has three other options to form the defense along with Kanu. They are: David Duarte, Vitor Hugo and midfielder Rezende.
The tricolor returned to training this Tuesday, at CT Evaristo de Macedo. The club will carry out one more activity before the match.
