A fern is a potted plant that can be safely said to be easy to care for. Of course, it is very important to follow a few important rules so that it pleases our eyes with its green, lush leaves all year round. In fact, one mistake can cause the leaves to turn yellow. Please remember that the fern loves moist air. These potted plants should not be placed near radiators or other heat sources. That’s why I do this treatment to my fern every Tuesday, and it literally grows like crazy. It’s about sprinkling. Of course, I use soft, settled water at room temperature.
Fern care in a pot

If the leaves wither at the edges, it is a sign that the air is too dry. Let’s also remember that it is a plant that likes diffused light. Do not expose the flower pot to direct sunlight. However, a house fern left in a dark corner will waste away.
Homemade milk fern fertilizer. How to prepare it?
To strengthen the fern, it is worth using a homemade banana conditioner. In autumn and winter, the plant needs much less nutrients, but it is worth strengthening it with phosphorus, which will protect against diseases. This ingredient can be found in bananas. To make homemade fertilizer, just cut a very ripe banana (with the peel) into smaller pieces, put it in a jar and pour hot water over it. After 48 hours, strain. It is worth using such homemade fertilizer once a month. One of the proven ways to fertilize a fern is to water it with tea or coffee without sugar.
