The vaccination campaign against Influenza, which has been available in the Rio Branco Municipal Health Network since July 2024, should end on January 31st. The service was made available by Ministry of Health (MS) for the entire population.
According to the capital’s city hall, through the Department of Health (Semsa) and the Department of Epidemiological Surveillance, the initiative will be intensified with several strategies to reach as many people as possible.
The measure aims to ensure protection against the Influenza virus, especially in a period of high circulation of the respiratory virus.
Semsa recommends that the population go to Basic Health Units to receive the vaccine, which is free, and is important to prevent respiratory complications, guaranteeing the health of the community.
For more information about vaccination sites and opening hours, you can access the Rio Branco City Hall website or contact directly the health units that operate from Monday to Friday, from 7am to 5pm.
