Libyan criminal police chief arrested in Turin

Rome – The head of the Libyan criminal police, Njeem Osama Elmasry, has been arrested in Turin. He was arrested on Sunday on an arrest warrant from the International Criminal Court accusing him of serious war crimes, the Rome daily reported The Republic on Tuesday. Elmasry was arrested while staying in a hotel in Turin: it is currently unknown why he was in Italy.
