O closed a series of commercial partnerships for the broadcasts of the UefaChampions League and Conmebol Sul-Americana in 2025. The broadcaster, which recently added Tiago Leifert to its team of narrators, managed to secure the support of 10 brands to sponsor the broadcasts of these competitions.
Sponsors include Heineken, Haleon, Renault, TIM, Novibet, Pagbank, VBET, Sanofi, SportingBet and Bem Brasil.
The hiring of Tiago Leifert, former Globo presenter, is considered a key factor in the success of these negotiations.
“We are sure that our spectators and sponsors will gain a lot from Tiago’s arrival to our sports team”said Vicente Varela, superintendent of Business and Commercialization at SBT. The expectation is that Leifert will attract a larger audience to the broadcaster’s broadcasts.
Leifert’s debut as narrator is scheduled to take place during the Champions League match between Benfica and Barcelona, which will be played at 4:45 pm. The game, in addition to being broadcast on TV, will also be available on +SBT streaming, allowing viewers to follow the match on different platforms.
The confrontation is not only a milestone in the career of Leifert, who has already worked for other broadcasters and narrated the old FIFA, but also an important moment for the SBTwhich seeks to consolidate its position as a reference in sports broadcasts.
