Vivara () announced on Monday night (20) the hiring of Elias Lima as the new Executive Director responsible for the Financial and IR departments, reporting to the CEO.
Lima has worked at Kora Saúde () for the last 7 years, his last position being Director of M&A/IR and CFO of Kora Saúde. He also worked for more than 7 years in the Private Equity sector at HIG Capital and Patria Investimentos.
XP sees the announcement as positive, as it fills an important position in the company, open since the departure of Otávio Lyra in November 2024.
“However, we observed that Kora Saúde has been suffering from a high leverage position, a result of its consolidation strategy through M&As”, point out the house’s analysts.
Itaú BBA highlights that Vivara has finally concluded its search for a new CFO after a few months of uncertainty.
“The absence of a CFO has caused some concern among investors, although we believe this is of relatively minor importance to the case given the company’s lower leverage profile, lack of intense liability management activities and limited merger activity and acquisitions. Therefore, we see the announcement as neutral and does not affect our general perspective on the thesis”, assesses the bank.
