With this product, there will be no trace of limescale in the kettle. It's not about the vinegar at all

Limescale build-up in the kettle it’s not just an aesthetic issue. The white coating can effectively affect the taste of boiled water, as well as the efficiency and life of the device. However, the process of scale formation is a natural phenomenon in hard water, which contains high concentrations of calcium and magnesium. So you need to know how to deal with this problem. Not only citric acid comes to the rescue, but also… beloved carbonated drink, i.e. cola.

A kettle with a layer of scale does not only mean that the water tastes worsebut also boiling water longer, which means higher electricity bills. If you want to extend the efficiency of your device and the quality of boiled water, it is worth descaling the kettle regularly. Especially if you have extremely hard water.

There are many chemicals in the store that can be used to descale a kettle, but home remedies are also popular. Of course, the most popular is the use of versatile vinegar, as well as baking soda and citric acid. In the case of popular vinegar, however, the problem is its quite intense aroma, which can persist for an extremely long time. So it requires boiling water several times to get rid of it.

Therefore, it is worth reaching for others solutions that will allow you to quickly deal with scale in your kettle. We are talking about the use of the popular carbonated drink, cola. Thanks to the high content of acids, including phosphoric and carbonic acid, the drink is able to cope with the dissolution of lime deposits.

Cola, in addition to dissolving limescale, also prevents further scale formation. Thanks to this, the device is able to function longer without a thick layer of sediment. Therefore, the use of this popular carbonated drink is a quick and effective alternative to other home remedies, including those using vinegar.

If you want to remove scale from a kettle with cola, just pour 300 ml of a drink at room temperature into the device. Then add water so that the entire bottom of the kettle is covered. At the end Boil the resulting solution and leave for about 30 minutesso that the acids contained in the cola can dissolve the precipitate.

Thanks to this, the scale from the walls and bottom of the kettle will fall off and the device will look like new. After the time has elapsed, rinse the kettle with water to remove the solution and any scale residues. To be safe, boil the water once and then pour it out. After this trick, the device is immediately ready for further use. The simple method using cola is therefore cheap and effective, and does not leave an unpleasant or problematic smell, as does popular vinegar.
