When preparing diet donuts, we must remember to:
- reduce the amount of fat in the dough,
- bake donuts instead of frying them,
- use low-sugar jams for filling,
- instead of decorating icing, use xylitol powder,
- replace the sugar with erythritol or xylitol (sometimes, however, you will need 1 teaspoon of sugar for the yeast to rise).

- 1 tablespoon of sugar,
- 500 g of spelled flour,
- 100 g of butter,
- 250 ml of 0% milk,
- 1 egg,
- 4 yolks.
Additionally, we need to prepare one more egg and low-sugar jam. Then we can proceed to preparing our diet donuts. The first step is to mix warm milk with 1 teaspoon of sugar, a few tablespoons of flour and crushed yeast.. Cover the whole thing with a cloth and leave for about 15 minutes.
Meanwhile, melt the butter in a pot. Steam the yolk, egg and remaining sugar. Then pour the remaining flour into a bowl. Add the solution and egg mass. Knead everything, gradually adding melted margarine, until we obtain a smooth mass. Cover the bowl with a cloth and leave for 50 minutes.
After this time has passed Place the dough on a board sprinkled with flour and roll it out until it is about 1 cm thick. Cut out discs from it and flatten each one slightly. Place half a teaspoon of filling in the center and form a ball, gluing the edges together.
Place the donuts on a baking tray lined with baking paper and leave to rise for half an hour. Then brush them with beaten egg and bake at 180 degrees until lightly browned, about 15 minutes.
