It is worth preparing for special occasions as well unique dishes. Something that we don’t do every day will both impress guests and give the whole thing a special atmosphere. In such moments, I reach for my favorite recipe, i.e chicken rolls in bacon.
Chicken bacon rolls are impressiveand the truth is that you really don’t need much to prepare them. Of course, the base is chicken breasts. They are quite lean and low in calories and calories will balance the sliced bacon. Thanks to them, the dish will be really juicy.
The middle of such rolls it is filled with a stuffing of dried tomatoes and mozzarella. Tomatoes pleasantly refresh the whole dish and break the taste of meat, which is boring for some people. Another break in the aromas is addition of mustard dijon. Just a small amount of mustard sauce it will give the whole characterand the roll will not be extremely spicy.
The combination of chicken, sun-dried tomatoes and mozzarella may seem trivial. Spicing it up with slices of bacon and mustard transforms this dish and gives a completely different dimension. You’ll be surprised how well it goes together.
The recipe for chicken rolls in bacon is very simple. In just a few steps you will create a delicious dinner that will delight many picky guests. Despite the addition of bacon the whole thing remains light. And there are rolls juicy, soft and delicate. This is really delicious.
Ingredients:
- double chicken breast,
- 100 g sliced bacon,
- 6 large dried tomatoes,
- kulka evening mozzarella,
- 3 teaspoons of dijon mustard,
- sun,
- pepper,
- oil or olive oil.
How to do it:
Divide the chicken breast into 3 parts and gently divide each of them beat with a pestle in front of food foil. The pieces should be approx. centimeter thick. Season the chicken on both sides with as much salt and pepper as you like. Then spread mustard on one side of the meat.
Remove excess oil from the sun-dried tomatoes and cut the mozzarella into slices. On the side smeared with mustard arrange a dried tomato and a slice of sera. Wrap the whole thing to form a roll. Each of the rolls wrap with a slice of bacon.
Lightly grease the ovenproof dish. Place the prepared bacon rolls into it. Bake the rolls for 25 minutes in an oven preheated to 190 degrees Celsius.
Ready chicken rolls in bacon serve with potatoes or mashed potatoes and your favorite salad.
