Last Monday, November 4, was on display for Alonea unitary TV film broadcast on France 2. In terms of audiences, the true story of sailor Yves Parlier, who entered the Vendée Globe in 2000 and who had to face an extreme storm in the Indian Ocean, attracted no less than 2.60 million viewers. Indeed, as our colleagues from Puremédias clarified, the browser’s epic story held in suspense 13,2% of the public and 7,7% FRDA-50s. Want to know more about the synopsis? Here it is: In November 2000, sailor Yves Parlier prepared to compete in the Everest of the seas: the Vendée Globe. He has an unfailing rage to win. This solo world tour without stopover or assistance is for him the perfect opportunity to rise to the height of the heroes of his childhood. As he sets off for the race of his life, Parlier is far from suspecting that it is a completely different adventure of which he will be the hero: an incredible test of endurance and survival. Facing two other sailors at the head of the race, he suddenly dismasted in the South Seas. Contradicting the media announcing his abandonment, he decides to repair his mast alone and continue the race… It was only a few days before the broadcast that we received in order to speak with him for a Privately with. The opportunity for us to return to this shoot which he himself describes as “the most exhausting shoot” of his career, both mentally and physically. He put “three weeks” to get over it.
Actor yes, but father above all!
Recently, Samuel Le Bihan made an important decision concerning his daughter Angia, who suffers from autism. “It’s over, I don’t talk about her anymore. She’s entering adolescence, it’s time for me to leave her alone. If she wants to express herself one day, she will, but that’s no longer It’s up to me to do it.”he recently confided in the columns of TV Magazine. An extremely important subject that he nevertheless agreed to address for Purepeople.com. Samuel Le Bihan confides like rarely in this format Privately withboth on his personal and professional life but also on the recent distinction he received: the Legion of Honor. A consecration, or almost, for this kid from Brittany who dreamed of making a career thanks to his passion.
Wanderer at heart, Samuel Le Bihan still affirms that he needs a reference point. His is in Nice, where a few years ago. “My real pleasure is to come out of this bubble of comfort to question myself”he admits when asked about security. It must be said that for the 59-year-old man, what counts above all is not successes but experiences. And there is no shortage of them, as evidenced by the video of his Privately with already available on YouTube.
